Day 10: St. Louis Day

It was a beautiful day in the big city. Richie’s friend Roger is in town, and we have Richie’s daughter Lauren for the day. After a farm fresh lunch, we headed out for a family friendly afternoon on the town.

First stop: Tower Grove Creamery

While everyone settled with two scoops of Moose Tracks, I took the path less traveled with one scoop Mint Chocolate Chip, and one scoop Candy Bar Whirl. Tasty. It balanced out the healthy lunch Richie made us all eat.

Then it was a couple of doors down to Dunaway Books.

Why yes, I did buy two books. Why do you ask?

So, you can imagine how happy I was. Ice cream, books. It just doesn’t get any better. Well, unless some tea had been involved. But I’m drinking tea as I type this, so it totally counts.

Last stop: City Garden:

We saw about three different wedding parties down there. We climbed and ran and stopped and generally misbehaved. (Not too much, Mom! Promise!

Beat that.
