Sacre Bleu by Christopher Moore

Oh, Christopher Moore. You are just fantastic, sir.

sacre bleu

Now, this work is a bit of a departure from his other works, but it’s still incredible. This book concerns Vincent van Gogh and his impressionist buddies. Vincent dies (duh) and his friend Lucien Lessard and Henri Toulouse-Lautrec try to figure out if he actually killed himself or if someone killed him. They try to figure out who the Color Man is- a man who sells paint to painters, stalking them across Europe.  Prints of art are reproduced throughout the book. It’s humorous, but most especially Henri. He’s my favorite.
