Autumn Bucket List Item #4: Watch 10 Scary Movies

1) Alice Sweet Alice

Brooke Shields makes her big screen debut.  A young girl is murdered, and her troubled sister becomes a suspect.

2) Black Christmas

This is probably also a good horror film for Christmas. It stars Margot Kidder and Olivia Hussey, whom I am absolutely in love with. Sorority girls getting whacked off. Fun.

3) Inside

This is not a movie to watch if you are pregnant. And I’m not being cute here. This movie centers on pregnant Sarah, who is being stalked by some strange woman.  GORE.

4) An American Haunting

God I love this movie. Richie says it’s because I like Donald Sutherland in period dress. Well, yes, but that’s not the *only* reason. It has Sissy Spacek in period dress, too.

5) The Unborn

Meh. Just another movie about why kids are awful. But hey, Gary Oldman. Ooh, and Idris Elba.

6) Duel

YES! Wimpy businessman and his 1971 Plymouth Valiant versus murderous Tanker Truck. Can’t go wrong. I first watched this as a kid with my mom. Thanks mom!

7) The Birds

Does this really need explanation? No.

8) Signs

This came out right before (I think) GIbson flipped his lid. Ah, memories. He was good once, right?

9) Wait Until Dark

Audrey Hepburn in a horror film. Audrey. Hepburn. Horror. Film. Why are you still reading this and not watching that?

10) Trick ‘r Treat

A wonderful film with four interlocking stories that take place on the same Halloween night. Anna Paquin as a brunette (much better than blonde)

Let me know if you have watched or plan to watch these!
